Last time we introduce the co-extrusion series composite decking, this time let’s introduce the installation of this product, you can know the ways of using after you buy it home.
As we all know we have accessories of stainless steel clip, plastic clip, expansion screw, SS Screw, WPC joist, starter clip, edge banding and wpc decking.
For the two clips, stainless steel clip and plastic slip, we can have two clips appalication show, the plastic clip gaps between decking is about 5mm, the stainless steel clip gaps between decking is about 2mm.
The installation process is listed as below. The first step, Install WPC Joist at a distance of 25-30cm with expansion screws and make sure the ground is flat and solid so that the joist can be fastened tightly on the ground. Secondly, Put flat the deck along the vertical direction of joists and install starter clips on one side of the first deck. Thirdly, install clips with screws on the other side of the deck. The forth step is Place the clips and the decks in turn and then fix the clips to joist with screws. The fifth step need you to make sure to reserve enough gaps between two decks according the installation area temperature. Outside the last deck, use the same installation method as that of the first deck and then install the edge banding to finish the installation.
